First Day of 2021

It's the first day of 2021 and usually I spend this day reflecting and thinking on the outcomes that I want for this year. I didn't really feel like I needed to spend time on the outcomes I wanted because honestly they're the same as a year ago. I didn't exactly achieve them but I sure did get closer and so getting even closer and keeping my eyes on those targets are adequate I think. In the meantime, I went back to the my January post from 2 years ago and I wanted to keep those same outcome because they're pretty much what I still want at least on a higher and broader level. I figured I'd keep that framework and then keep on doing the same image processing as what I have now currently regardless of when I started it until I do get to check them off the list. And so with that, it felt like today's New Year's Day retrospective was hardly a retrospective at all. And that's perfectly ok. And so I merely posted a pic that encapsulates those higher values that represent my PURPOSE. If I hold true to those for the year I will have done very VERY WELL indeed. 

And so what did I really do for the first day of the new year? I actually did something a lot more mundane. I finished cleaning my house. It only took all day because I took my time. Had all the food I needed in the house already so no need to go out for anything. And then after I cleaned the house I watched all these new movies on Netflix that just came out. First a movie about kids of superheroes that ended up saving the world and thus became superheroes themselves. Also the moral of the story? You don't need superpowers to be a great leader. And the world needs more of those actually. Something I would do well to remember. And then I binge watched Season 3 of Cobra Kai. If a series turned out to be even better than its movie original, this would be it. And this season brought back some characters from the original movie(s). Ally, and the Okinawan girlfriend and the Okinawan protagonist Chozen. All older now. I really am feeling like I've grown up with these characters and I am older now too LOL. Still I very much enjoyed watching all episodes, pretty much in one sitting. Hey what was I going to watch? Another year of Twilight Zone? LOL LOL.
