Johnnie Mode

So today I held Johnnie back from Penmar camp. He's supposed to get his baseline Covid test done so he could actually go to school on Monday. And then since GF Brooklyn is getting tested the same time, her mom figured maybe we could all go to lunch afterwards. I was down for that. Heck it's Thursday anyway, after the IS Team Meeting there wouldn't be much going on and really if not for hand-off night tonight with Lisa it would simply be Johnnie hanging out with me all day.  And so I just posted a few pictures from today and let them tell the story. Oh yeah the first couple of pictures were from the small pool. I had bought a wooden boat kit for Johnnie and he put it together and wanted to test it. With the other boat he built from camp this week. All good.

And so Lisa had one last surprise When she picked up Johnnie I had no idea she would pull up in her brand new vehicle. She bought a toyota Tacoma truck. yep, A truck. Must be all the riding around in Kalani's yellow Ford Ranger that got her wanting to own one for herself. She was real excited about it and I'm glad for that. I went to bed all alone in the house for the first time since before Lisa left for vacation. Yep, no dog either tonight. I get to get back to the real routine finally...
